Our Donors Help Us Support Others
Donating is a meaningful way to support others going through this end-of-life journey. By donating, you enable this non-for-profit organization to offer personalized care plans, emotional support, relief for caregivers, and resources to meet the diverse needs of the community. Your donation can also help fund specialized training for volunteers, increase access to grief and bereavement services, and contribute to the overall sustainability and growth of the program. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a significant difference in the lives of those relying on palliative care services, ensuring comfort, dignity, and compassionate support during a challenging and vulnerable time.
You can donate by mailing a check to “Elliot Lake Palliative Care Program” at 70 Spine Road, Elliot Lake, Ontario P5A 1X2.

The Impact Is Meaningful
Volunteering for a palliative care program is a profoundly rewarding experience that not only impacts the lives of those receiving care, but also enriches the life of the volunteer in immeasurable ways. This role gives the opportunity to create comfort, companionship, and advocacy to individuals and loved ones during their most vulnerable moments. Sam, a long time volunteer, expresses his experience in this testimonial:
"Being a Palliative Care Volunteer is truly an honour for me. To gently hold a hand, read to, assist with meals, and monitor a person needs is humbling experiencing. To be their eyes and ears, and advocate on their behalf has a huge impact. Most importantly, to listen and be there for their journey. No other volunteering that I do is more meaningful to me than with the Elliot Lake Palliative Care Program."
