Testimonials
Providing Compassionate Support During Life's Most Challenging Moments
"Our family is so thankful for the service we received from Elliot Lake Palliative Care Program. The support we received was not only for my father but our entire family. Our heartfelt thanks to the volunteers who were there as we navigated through the difficult process and provided us with the solace and peace of mind knowing they were there for both my parents when we couldn't be."

"The personal care of the volunteers that would visit my grandfather was heartwarming, they quickly learned his inside jokes. There was one woman who would sit with my grandfather regularly and talk to him about his family, share stories with him, and knit at the same time. When my grandfather passed I was seven months pregnant, she was knitting a blanket for my son. My son never met my grandfather, but he has heard stories, laughed at jokes with my family, and was wrapped in love and his great grandfather's presence because of that Palliative Care volunteer. I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredibly dedicated people and valuable services that my family received from Palliative Care."
